Production of RVI according to the standards of the global GULF brand
In 2017, the local managing company initiated the program of modernization of the Gulf Georgia filling stations network, which appeared on the Georgian fuel retail market in 2010. The main objective was to modernize the appearance of Gulf Georgia filling stations in the local market in accordance with the specifications and quality standards of the global Gulf brand.
RVI for Gulf Georgia filling stations
Within the modernization program, the VDS team revised the structural concepts and technologies for the production of a pylon, logo signs, and signage and introduced some qualitative transformations.
The specialists of VDS Design and Engineering Center have reworked the proportions of color arrays and the placement of logos on the basic RVI structures of Gulf Georgia filling stations: canopy frieze and pylon.
We manufactured Gulf logo sign from a transparent glass of contrasting colours. As a result, the Gulf logo sign became more conspicuous and readable at a distance.
“Retro note” in the rounded corners of the canopy
“Retro note” in the rounded corners of the canopy refers to the century-old history of the Gulf brand. The frieze of the canopy was given a more modern form. We applied a glossy coating and backlight method to achieve a lighting effect with the extinction of the frieze's entire surface. As a result, the dark blue colour “plays” at night.
We worked out the cross-section and material of the light profile, implemented the latest lighting systems to maximize the light effect on the main style-forming elements of the Gulf Georgia filling stations.
Therefore the filling station looks brighter and more attractive at night due to new light accents. In daylight, a gloss coating on the filling station elements enhances the blue colour depth.
The image of the Gulf Georgia filling station
A fine-tuned architecturally verified balance made the image of the Gulf Georgia filling station proportionally correct, combining the canopy, pylon, and building into a single complex. Improvements have proven their effectiveness and are used for modernization of the Gulf-branded fuel retail network in Georgia.
