To minimize the risks of losses associated with equipment failure, the engineering and technical service of the VDS Plant implements the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system.

The Total Productive Maintenance system aims to improve the efficiency of equipment maintenance by:
- Development of individual service regulations
- ️Maintenance planning with condition analysis to prevent potential failures
- ️training in the rules of maintenance and involvement in maintenance (daily inspection, cleaning, lubrication) of individual operators
- ️analysis of the causes of breakdowns and failures with the development of a register of technical malfunctions and their causes
- ️conclusion of long-term contracts for maintenance and supply of spare parts
- formation of a warehouse of key spare parts and assemblies for prompt restoration of working capacity
