Design, production of the highway complex for the COMPASS Comfort gas station
In 2014, the VDS team developed the COMPASS corporate identity, which is still successfully replicated on the gas station network.
In 2019, we were tasked with developing a multifunctional highway complex for recreation on the road, preserving the continuity of urban Compass stations.
The pilot facility was implemented on the Almaty-Taldykorgan highway in December 2020.
New concept
The multifunctional highway complex with a total area of more than two hectares has no analogues in Kazakhstan. It includes parking for heavy vehicles and tourist buses and a food court with 80 seats. his track complex can be mass-produced.
Design solutions
When working on the project, design solutions were applied taking into account the high seismic activity of the area.
The building is made in the style of COMPASS stations and does not dominate the advertising design of the gas station.
The architectural solution of this route complex assumes the presence of two pylons: price and image. The height of the image-building pylon is 18 meters, the height of the price pylon is 8 meters. The height of the image-building stela is 18 meters, the height of the price stela is 8 meters.

In 2023, VDS will implement two more track complexes in the style of 2019 with some modifications: an increased number of shopping malls, a modified appearance of the facade of the building.
