In 2019, the network of KazMunayGas gas stations came under the control of a private company, PetroRetail LLP, which in 2020 began the process of comprehensive modernization of the network under the new Qazaq Oil brand.
From the first days of its activity, the company has focused on global development and carrying out a comprehensive modernization of old gas stations, as well as bringing them to international standards.

The cooperation of VDS Company with the Qazaq Oil brand began in the fall of 2020 with the implementation of 11 pilot retail network facilities. The work on pilot filling stations showed that the current industrial catalog does not allow solving the Customer's business problem.
At the end of 2019, VDS was selected as the exclusive supplier of RVI kits for Qazaq Oil for 3 years. The VDS methodology for the comprehensive modernization of Qazaq Oil ensured a successful mass rebranding with a comfortable economy, production time and efficient operation of the network.
From 2020 to 2022, 207 filling stations were modernized; capital expenditures amounted to more than 40 billion tenge. In addition, in 2020, 6 new super-modern filling stations were built along the Western Europe-Western China highway.
The complex modernization of the network resulted in the formation of a strong brand, a significant increase in production indicators and customer loyalty. So, for example, sales of petroleum products increased by 50 percent, and the sale of goods in stores at gas stations increased 10 times. It should be noted that the company reinvests all profits in the further modernization of the network.
