Irbis brand creation, corporate style development, and manufacture of RVI-structures for the full-service retail site network

Since 1998, “TranzitCity” had built filling stations under other brands while working generally on a franchise. In 2014 “TranzitCity” executives decided to develop a network of full-service filling stations under a new brand. The VDS team together with “TranzitCity” representatives studied the potential for the development of the future network in the competitive regional market and worked out the business idea based on the national trait – the hospitality of people in Tatarstan. The VDS team created the brand “IRBIS” with a strong national component. “IRBIS” logo and brand name inherit the heraldic symbols of Tatarstan.

National dignity is an integral part of the business practices of “TranzitCity”. “We purchase fuel from domestic producers only and bring it up to the EU standards” (as stated in the TranzitCity’ strategy). Full-service retail sites include security parking areas, car washing areas, car service centers, hotel accommodation, mini-markets (providing a range of the best products from producers of Tatarstan), cafes of national Tatar cuisine (meat and vegetables are purchased from the local farmers).

All sites are concentrated around a filling station, which is a symbol that insistently invites travelers to a zone of coziness and comfort. Structures and branded components for filling stations were manufactured from high-quality new materials on high-tech modern equipment at the VDS Plant.
