VDS flagships: Tatneft ECO-Gas Station №112

In 2019, VDS and Tatneft launched a joint project to develop and build flagship gas stations. One of them was ECO-gas station №112, implemented as part of the program "Development of a complex of technologies for creating an energy-efficient, environmentally sustainable settlement based on the village of Aktobe" in 2022.

The architecture of the gas station underlines Tatneft's commitment to the principles of sustainable ESG development: the use of environmentally friendly recyclable materials, the use of alternative energy sources, and an effective ten-year service life.

138 solar panels have been installed on the roofs of the operator's and car wash buildings to generate electric and thermal energy, and wind turbines have been launched on the territory of the gas station. In addition, the gas station has a Smart Home system that optimizes energy consumption by automatically regulating temperature and lighting, depending on the presence of customers both inside the building and in the area of fuel-dispensing units.

The implementation of flagship projects serves as an effective means of introducing innovative solutions and sustainable technologies, increasing brand competitiveness and bringing the company closer to achieving strategic goals.

In 2023, Tatneft entered the top three of the ESG rating of the reputable RAEX agency. Experts have awarded Tatneft the highest ESG rating at the moment - AA. ESG ranking takes into account several performance indicators, including effective management, social investment, concern for nature and climate protection measures.
