VDS Group, a manufacturer of hi-tech structures exploited in construction for oil companies and urban development projects, became the winner in two bids placed by Rosneft Moscow, an oil product supply enterprise representing PJSC Rosneft Oil Company in the Moscow region.
In early 2018 official results were published in the Rosneft tender system. VDS Group won 7 of 8 lots pertaining to the Rosneft filling stations rebranding program in Moscow and Moscow district. VDS Group technical specialists will perform work on both external and internal construction elements at the filling stations to be renewed. According to the tender terms & conditions, VDS Group will put 78 renewed filling stations in service within 6-8 weeks. VDS Group delivered and installed construction elements at 34 Rosneft filling stations in December 2018 and is about to complete cladding at 11 more objects in January 2019. This kind of stations are normally located near highways and have a distinguishing material texture used in building coating.
December 7, 2018 marked another win for VDS Group. The Company secured its victory in a Rosneft bid for supply and installation of 59 totems and 61 navigation signs within the same TNK filling stations rebranding program. VDS Group team mobilized all its resources to complete the projects according to Rosneft schedule by mid-January 2019.
The project became a true innovation.
VDS Group specialists improved the design and production process of the light box at the roofing shed which now represents a single solid element of yielding form and a premium look.
VDS Group team has also substantially improved the form factor of totems. While design, characteristics and requirements of customer’s technical specifications remained intact, VDS Group team optimized labor input and materials consumption during production of totems, added stiffness to its structure yet preserving its yielding form and an elegant look.
“The modified frame improved totem’s hardness which reinforces its resistance to external factors like wind and vibrations during transportation. A new technology was employed for production of the trade mark, improving its durability with zero loss of operating characteristics. Our know-how enhanced totem’s side-illumination and paint coating which now is more dirt-resistant. The totem’s modernization ultimately resulted in TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) reduction by 8-10%”, Alexander Pilasevich, Project Manager at VDS Group.
